‘SELNMIND1’ is Pack’s first move of 2023 after building a rep in recent years with a string of DIY drops, both solo and with label co-owner DJ Gonz as LEAL. The A-side’s ‘Eternal’ alloys anxiously writhing, wiry lead to grungy grumble and grimy, offbeat techno step with a sense of deferred gratification, whereas ‘Spectrum’ is the more wild-eyed of the two, wielding carousel melody and lumpy, offbeat acid techno in a sort of hobbled warehouse techno.
