This monumental edition compiles Merzbow’s first ten releases from 1981—originally issued on cassette—most appearing on vinyl for the first time. These recordings capture the early incarnation of Merzbow as the duo of Masami Akita and Kiyoshi Mizutani, offering a raw, exploratory sound that laid the foundation for Japanese noise.

Remastered from the original analog tapes by Akita himself and optimized for vinyl by Andrea Marutti, each LP comes housed in individual sleeves faithfully reproducing the original artwork.
