An enigmatic force of acid-mangled electro named CH415 made a return in 2020. It had been some eight years since his sole release Output One EP first unleashed crushed ice leads and deep house beats (we’d sure like to see that one return to wax someday), and Journey From The Third Floor EP feels like the welcome bucket of cold water we needed from the producer. As is imprint Further Electronix’s ultimate wisdom, this EP fits neatly in among the crisp-fried 303s of Cignol and Jack Smooth — so if you’ve been picking up what they’ve been putting down in 2021, CH415 makes for a fantastic addition.
