Shoegaze vets 2nd album reissued! The follow up to what might easily be one of the best albums in the genre (Nowhere), Going Blank Again resembles the classic on the surface level but offers so much more. The album was produced by engineer god Alan Moulder giving it that creation sound but the band had clearly taken on new influences. Yes the signs of what makes a shoegaze album a shoegaze are there but there mood felt a little different. While there were hints of it on Nowhere, the the outside influence of The Smiths to The Stone Roses might have been weighing in a little more. While it wasn’t initially hailed as one of their best, Going Blank Again has since become a fan favorite and this 2012 repress was very much welcomed. Pressed at 45RPM and spread across 2 LPs for maximum sound levels on 150g vinyl. Housed in a heavy gatefold jacket with lyric sheet insert included.
