Carlo Troja aka Don Carlos was active during Italy’s golden days, the years that saw the likes of Beppe Loda and the rest of the ‘cosmic’ crew pave the way for what was to then become house music as we know it in Europe. Although he was an influential DJ as far back as the 1970s, Troja only released his first EP in 1991, the beautiful Alone that is reissued here with the help of Groovin.
