Eric Louis returns to his own Devilish Affair this December with ‘Adventures Part 2’, comprised of six dubbed out original cuts from the US artist.

Eric Louis is a Jersey based producer and DJ specialising in the field of raw, dubbed out House and Techno and in 2021 he inaugurated his Devilish Affair imprint with the ‘Adventures’ EP, picking up support along the way from many leading names in the industry. Here Eric’s story continues with a follow up to the label’s debut in the form of ‘Adventures Part 2’.

‘Drama’ leads the release and lays down a dynamic stab-led hook at its core while a bumpy vacillating rhythm, murky textures and low-end pulsations carry the ever-evolving groove throughout. ‘Café Dubs Part 1’ follows next and dives deeper courtesy of sweeping atmospherics, expansive reverberations and airy pads running atop a minimalistic drum groove. ‘Floating Away’ is up next and as the name would suggest offers a cosseting feel via ethereal, billowing pad lines, soft chord stabs, twinkling synth chimes and low-slung percussion.
‘School Yard’ then leans back in darker realms with hazy, heavily reverberated stabs, hypnotic voices, crisp drums and choppy bass hits before

‘Scatter’ employs shuffled drums, filtered, unfurling melodies and bouncy bass. ‘

Victory’ then rounds out the release with a more melodic feel, bringing an amalgamation of stabs, intricate synth licks and swirling textural effects into play alongside a chugging low-end groove and crunchy drums.
