Earlier this year (on 4/20 natch), fine herb connoisseur Galcher Lustwerk released a 16-track album entitled “420”. This short sampler collects just three of the untitled, four-minutes-and-twenty-second tracks so anyone that missed the full record (or couldn’t afford the $69 price tag) can now check in on the highlights.

If u were into last year’s hazy “Information” or July’s short, sharp “Proof” u should know what to expect here: sparkling, blunted compositions that pull from house, jazz, new age, ambient and funk routines and wave each element into humid bliss. It’ll make u desperate to hear the entire (almost 69-minute) record in full, which we suppose is the point. Beatless opener “Untitled 6” is our pick of the trio, reminding of unforgettable “Information” into “Left in the Dark” but with an almost Stereolab-esque lounge-core fizz. Just lovely.
