Blue moon sorts O Yuki Conjugate reappear in a reissue of three 1995 ambient dub pearls off their ’Sunchemical’ album, backed by a deep tech house remix from Charles Webster

Webster’s original 1995 remix of ‘Californium’ gets the EP off to a strident start with its wide pads and deep blue atmosphere thrust forward by a swanging Detroit/UK sort of tech-house swing and searching trance arps for ten epic minutes. The other tracks however shuffle off to the chill out room for a cup-a-soup and a head massage, laying down the weightless dub illbience of ’Sunchemical Carbon’, the Muslimgauze-like steppers patter of ‘Sunchemical Bismuth’, and the dolphin cries and angelic choral pads diffused into ’Sunchemical (Album Version).’
