Operation Segerpil is a limited-edition release of 294 copies, packaged in brown cardboard sleeves with paste-on artwork and an insert. The album draws inspiration from Swedish mission work, the rawness of early 1980s bedroom electronic music, and uncompromising creative expression. Originally issued as two EPs on Förfall between 2022 and 2023, this reworked and reorganized version condenses the material, discarding lesser elements to create a cohesive and powerful album.

The sound is described as “brutish weirdo electronics,” combining sweat-soaked intensity, swarming mosquitoes, and hidden harmonies amidst chaotic oscillations. It evokes the spirit of experimental artists like Maurizio Bianchi and Riz Ortolani, while carving its own unique sonic identity. The album was remixed from original tapes in Gothenburg in early 2024 and mastered for vinyl by Joakim Karlsson, ensuring an elevated audio experience.
