Futurist Afro-Latinate mechanisms propel the first meeting between the UK’s Batu and Floridian spar Nick León to the centre of the ‘floor. The four track EP makes up the 5th cat # on A Long Strange Dream after a string of Batu exclusives.

In tandem with Nick León, the duo clock into mostly uptempo brackets, commanding a brisk limber-up with the Brazilian-accented percussion and hypnotic electronics whisked up on ‘Rezz’, whilst tempering the energy in a mean sort of Raptor house-adjacent pressure on Yiu’, and recalibrating between razor-stepping sort of neuro-dembow D&B parry and lurch in ‘Tuvan’, to the percolated broken beat and electro physix of ‘Palo’.
