The English shoegaze band Slowdive formed in 1989 by Neil Halstead and Rachel Goswell. ‘Morningrise’ might be one of the best shoegaze songs of all time, with the band recording a guitar ‘wall of sound’, combined with dreamy vocals. This song appeared on the 1991 same-titled EP.
